Employment Coach | Full Time

 

Position Summary

SECS seeks an Employment Coach to provide employment coaching services to neighbors interested in career development and employment. Using the co-active coaching model, this role assists neighbors in determining their strengths, barriers, and skills related to employment and then working with the neighbor to create a plan. Creating relationships and staying in touch with neighbors you are working with is a crucial part of this role - employment coaches are responsible for tracking job retention and advancement.  Neighbor follow-up for purposes of retention and advancement is an essential function of this position. If you want to help neighbors meet their career goals and celebrate their successes along the way, this could be the role for you!

Community Navigator | Full Time

 

Position Summary

Do you thrive on connecting with people and the energy being out in the community brings? Are you fluent in speaking and writing both English and Spanish? If so, SECS is looking for a Community Navigator with your skill set! The Community Navigator role will help to promote the services available through both SECS' programs and those provided by our partners in the Twin Aire Promise Project (TAP). In this role, you will help people to identify their goals, prioritize their needs, and make connections. To succeed in this role, you must be skilled in helping individuals and families, understand and effectively use the programs available, and be able to relay the needs/wants identified in the community back to SECS.
